We live in a fast-paced world filled with infinite possibilities and opportunities. Like

kids in a candy shop, we can easily feel overwhelmed choices on where we spend our time. What’s most important? How do we find time to get things done? How much can we handle? It is tempting to shove more in our day than is humanly possible, and discouraged at the end of the day when we barely got past the second item on our to-do list.    In an overstuffed schedule, we feel out of balance—where one area of our lives monopolizes our time at the expense of other more important things.

Throughout my 20 years as a time management coach , I’ve found that there are certain key skills that make the difference between a day that feels in balance vs. out of balance....

I've purchased your new planner, have months January and February loaded up and am ready to plan. Thanks for redesigning it - it works extremely well for me and my large family who always have multiple things going on all day long. :)

Please make this in the FCP Compact size next year. I wanted to buy it today but I don't have the FCP Classic day planner. Thanks!

Ditto on the last comment. I've considered this planner for 2 years but haven't leaped because of the size. However, I've moved to a pocket planner for 2010 following a year of downsizing, which may be too small for the Balanced Life Planner material. But if not, I'd love to see this in FCP Pocket size!

Wow, I love this setup! This is a new setup for me, I used to do the two pages per week system and it just wasn't enough room and seemed to get messy real fast. Trying to juggle four jobs and a life is difficult enough, but this setup is making it more manageable to stay on track! I definitely recommend this to people who need to balance a very busy schedule!

Heard about this during a radio interview you did the other day, but tried look it up on the Franklin Covey site and it did not appear to be there? Sounds like a great product, I'm planning on visiting the Franklin Covey store to check it out soon.

I love the setup of your planner system. It fits my life perfectly. I would love it even more if it came in the compact size or in classic size for the binder.

it has been discontined from Franklin Covey on line website....darn

I was eager to get this planner, but haven't been able to find it anywhere. Is Franklin Covey going to restock it at some point?

Comment posted on 01/30/2010 at 12:26 am
The good news, relatively speaking, is that the Balanced Life Planner sold out on the website! That means it was in high demand. And the product has not been discontinued, it's just low on stock. The best news is that there are still Balanced Life Planners in stock in many retail Franklin Covey stores around the country. For a list of retail Franklin Covey Stores--follow the link below--and call around. Any store can ship you the product wherever you are located. http://service.franklinplanner.com/store_locator. Good luck---and thanks for your commitment to finding a Balanced Life Planner for 2010! Julie

Thanks for the tip about hitting the brick-and-mortar stores! Just called and got your last one at the Franklin Covey in Canoga Park, CA.

I will have to find one. I have used this system since you brought it out and I love it.

Comment posted on 10/22/2010 at 11:21 am
Julie, In past years, you have made a planner refill that runs January-December. Recently, I went to Franklin-Covey and was very disappointed to see that the refills they carried covered from July-June. What's the scoop on this -- most of us buy planners to start in January.

Comment posted on 10/25/2010 at 10:59 pm
I guess October must be the month to buy next year's planner, because I just had the same experience as the previous poster. I wanted to buy a planner starting in January 2011, but Franklin-Covey only has refills for July 2010-June 2011. Will you be making a refill that starts in January 2011? I wanted the wire bound, but would even settle for the ring bound if that's the only one that is being made.

Comment posted on 10/26/2010 at 01:42 pm
To follow up on my comment above (from 10/25), I checked with FranklinCovey, and they are discontinuing both the wire bound and ring bound Julie Morgenstern planners, so they will not be available for 2011.

Comment posted on 11/09/2010 at 07:28 pm
Could anyone why they discontinuing the Julie Morgenstern planners for Jan 2011? After we learn how to your system, now we need to learn how to use another one. This is so stressful!

Comment posted on 11/19/2010 at 03:38 pm
I am in the same boat. The Julie Morgenstern planners works so well for me. It is an outstanding product, so how what do I do with out it in the coming year? Did I mentioned that I brought all the accessories.

Comment posted on 11/30/2010 at 08:06 pm
I also really like her system. Is there anywhere else you can get them? Has anyone else found a system as good? thanks

Comment posted on 11/30/2010 at 08:51 pm
same here! I need January 2011 to Dec 2011. Where can I find this!

Comment posted on 12/01/2010 at 05:34 pm
I am in same boat as all other previous posters!! That is why I came to your website to see if I can locate your Jan. 2011 - Dec 2011 Balanced Life Planner!! After phoning Franklin Covey to order my new year planner, the clerk on the phone told me it was discontinued with their company because of lack of demand!! I told her I seriously disagreer with that statement because every time I'd order in past years they'd tell me it was sold out because of the demand!! And I would have to wait weeks until they could fulfill back orders!! My well used Balanced Life Planner extremely helped me to plan multiple households; as My Mom was very ill & I was responsible of her household & taking care of her for 2 years until her passing! Then being responsible for my seriously depressed Son"s household, who was losing his wife, his home, his job...without my Julie Morgenstern Planner & training in the planner I would of never been able to juggle Our own home & the demand of all others!! CAN THIS PLANNER BE ORDERED THROUGH JULIE MORGENSTERN"S CORPORATION OR HER WEBSITE??? OR HAVE YOU PLANNED THE SAME PLANNER UNDER YOUR NAME INSTEAD OF FRANKLIN COVEY?? THERE ARE MANY OF US WHO HAS USED THESE SPECIFIC PLANNERS RELIGIOUSLY & HAS CHANGED OUR LIVES TO BE MORE RELAXED IN OUR ORGANIZING!! WITHOUT IT!! I WOULD OF BEEN SERIOUSLY FRUSTRATED & OVERWHELMED!! JUST EXACTLY WHY THESE PLANNERS WERE INVENTED TO ALLEVIATE THE STRESS TO AMERICANS LIVES!! LESS OVERWHELMED & STRESSED! PLEASE, PLEASE CAN SOMEONE DIRECT US WHO ABSOLUTELY NEEDS THE BALANCED LIFE PLANNER OF WHERE WE CAN PURCHASE OUR NEXT YEAR PLANNERS! I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT SINCE OCTOBER!! COULD SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER MINE & THE OTHERS REQUESTS

Dear loyal Balanced-Life Planner users Unfortunately, as many of you have figured out, the planner has been discontinued. My team and I are working as hard as we can to produce the planner in time for the January 1, 2011 year. If you would like to remain informed of the status of the planner, click here, http://juliemorgenstern.com/planner.htm, and fill out the form. This link can also be accessed on the homepage of the website, right next to the photo of Organizing from the Inside Out. Im sorry for this inconvenience, Julie Morgenstern

Julie, if you're reading these comments, would you please make your new planner pages the same as the ones I got used to in the past year from Franklin Covey? What was especially valuable to me is that you devote an entire page to scheduling, 6am through 7pm. That has been a critical design element I can't find anywhere else. I hope you read this and hope to hear shortly about new planner refills with the same fabulous features, and same reasonable price, and in Franklin Covey's classic size. I too am so disappointed about the planner discontinuation! I'm a bit of a late shopper, just logged on to Franklin Covey with my Christmas promo code to get my Jan-Dec 2011 refill pages to find they have none! Had I known this was possible I wouldn't have purchased the very expensive leather binder from them that goes with the system. Again, Julie, I hope you read and use the comments from us, your loyal followers. The full page of time slots is invaluable to me and I'd hate to lose that aspect. Thank you.

It's January 2, 2011- I'm looking for your planner pages to refill my cover. WHERE ARE THEY??? Please advise...

I have just found this wonderful planner system only to find that it not not available. I was so hopeful when I first saw the planner - it seemed to me the most logical and useful planning tool I have seen to date ( I have used many other brands previously). I too am in REAL need of Julie's planner (loose leaf please) and hope that some solution can be offered quickly. Now I am unsure how to organize 2011. Please offer some ideas or undated pages so that my goal to get organized with a paper system doesn't get set aside for long. Thank you!

I educate my children at home, work part-time as a college professor, and work part-time at a fitness center--I need the Balanced Life Planner! I will definitely be looking for the new one. It has served me well since it was first introduced. Like one commenter said--This is quite stressful waiting to see if/when the new product will debut. It's hard to plan my year because I'm not clear if I'll be using the same planner system. I'm very much looking forward to the new Balanced Life Planner!

Comment posted on 02/23/2011 at 11:41 pm
Julie - I hope your team is still working on developing a planner that will pick up when my current pages run out in June. Please get this to market - this is the best planner out there!

I visited Franklin Covey yesterday to see if they had July refills in stock and they told me it was discontinued. I've finally found a planner style that I love, is it available anywhere? Or will it be available prior to July? Help!

Comment posted on 05/03/2011 at 12:11 am
I too went to order a planner refill from Franklin Covey only to find out that its no longer available. I can not express the disappointment that I have. I have this awesome planner with many who have also purchased it and I know that they too love the balanced life planner! I too hope that you plan to offer it through your company. I have used franklin covey planners for 20 years and this one is truly the best by far!!!

I am also searching for the new July 6-month planner. I chose another one at Franklin for 2011 and absolutely hate it!!! Not sure why Franklin-Covey would discontinue such a a great planner and also loose revenue. Looking forward to the July planner...I am ready to change back!!

Comment posted on 05/21/2011 at 09:15 am
I cannot believe Franklin Covey has discontinued -- never buying from them again. I read on blog that Julie is planning to sell her planner elsewhere, before July. Any news? We need it!

I don't understand why the owners of this web site aren't responding to the questions and concerns!

It's so good to know that JM's peeps are reading these comments. What about an online web based version? The clock is ticking on my June planner, sadly.

June is the last month for me as well! Please come out with a new system soon!

Comment posted on 06/09/2011 at 03:31 pm
Will there be a planner available before the end of June or not? At this time, we've heard over and over to hang in there, but we are already 10 days into June and a little more information would be appreciated.

Your system was one that truly worked for me after years of trying all kinds of Franklin planner pages. I, like so many others, have been waiting and waiting for your new planner pages to be released. As much as I hate to start ALL OVER AGAIN with a different style of pages, I can't keep putting off planning the rest of my year, let alone summer. This is unbelievably disappointing and frustrating. You keep saying "news coming soon" but even if you announce something next week, are you planning to upgrade shipping so that all of us who have been loyally and patiently waiting receive it before the end of the month?? I doubt it. I'm done being strung along. You've lost a customer.

I too used to use a Franklin Covey until 2 years ago when I switched to your products, bought all the nice leather accessories and now I live by it. Do I really have to go back and buy another Franklin Covey style? What do I do w/ my nice Julie Morganstern leather planner? Help! Can we download temporary pages as a pdf from your site. I am willing to pay not to have to switch. Thanks, Louisa

Hi everybody, As you all I was searching for a new planner refill from Julie Morgenstern. I live in the Netherlands and every year I order the refill from the Covey shop. Normally I order a whole year but even when last year they only had the refill for june 2010 till july 2011, I ordered that one. For me, it meant that half off the refill was useless because I also had the refill for the whole year 2010. Since august 2011 I work with another planner. It really sucks and I am thinking about ordering a refill from Covey. I really don't want to but it' s the next best thing.... Please, please, please, people from the Julie Morgensternteam, help us all out! I really love, love, love the planner pages from Julie, they make my work a lot more easy and make my head more clear. Thanks, Jaimy

are there any new details on planners!?

Thank you for all of your comments! We are excited that we are working with Levenger on a new and improved version of the Balanced Life Planner which will be coming out in 2012. More details to follow...

where are the updated details for the planner?

What is the delay on the planners? Clearly, you have quite a following who are in desperate need of your planner. Please advise! Thank you

Is there a planner yet?

Comment posted on 05/09/2012 at 08:19 am
She has now partnered up with Levenger! I just went to their website & they are offering it in their circa planning system. Yeah!!

Comment posted on 08/12/2013 at 01:25 pm
I love the planner but have just been told by Levenger that they will no longer carry it. Is there a new provider?

Comment posted on 12/02/2013 at 02:54 pm
I purchased the entire Balanced Life system from Levenger just last month (Nov 2013) only to find that the refills for 2014 aren't available. ??? :(

Comment posted on 12/04/2013 at 04:30 am
2014? There is demand. where is the supply?

Comment posted on 12/13/2013 at 03:19 am
The instability on these Julie Morganstern planning products is very counter to the whole basis for planning. I'm going to try the Circa Smart Planner weekly 2014 Master Agenda and "apps."

Comment posted on 10/14/2014 at 03:26 pm
For someone that's suppose to be "world renowned for organization" you sure aren't on top of it with your daily planner. To me it seems like you're done with this so why not just say so.
